Seeing is Believing

We often think of visual impairment as something binary: you either have vision, or you don’t. But it is a spectrum, ranging from an inability to focus properly or see detail, to people with colour blindness or blind spots in their vision.

Visual impairment goggles are a common tool which simulate different visual abilities. They enable designers to evaluate their products as different types of users, optimising visual clarity, colour contrast, and non-visual sensory cues to support a wider range of people to feel comfortable and confident in using products.
