A friendly face
Staff play an important part in the London Transport system, providing safety, security, information and assistance.
This uniform is from a Docklands Light Railway (DLR) Train Captain from 1990. As a key part of these ‘driverless’ trains, Train Captains will open and close train doors, help passengers with tickets and provide information on journeys. They can even be found entertaining passengers and providing weather updates!
