Human factors has made a difference to the world around us for the last 75 years.

Not only has it made things safer for us to use, but it has also made us more productive, and to feel more satisfaction and comfort from the things we interact with in our daily lives. It has kept us safe on the roads and on trains, kept us well-cared for in hospitals, and created products that we can all use, regardless of our diffabilities.

Where might human factors help us in the future? As we navigate the modern world, new innovations and inventions emerge, creating new challenges for humans to overcome. As we face the daunting prospect of climate change, how can human factors help us to develop usable green technologies and support our growing connection with the natural world? As we look to alternative forms of energy, how can human factors create workplaces that are safe and productive? And as humanity comprehends the rise of artificial intelligence, how might we learn to interact with new systems and technologies?

This is the future world we face. How can we Think Human?
